Mystique of Oman Tour focuses on the north visiting Muscat the old port city of Sur, the ancient city of Nizwa, spectacular Jebel Akhdar finishing on the Batinah Coast.
Day 1, In Transit.
Late arrival, transfer to hotel.

Day 2, Capital Area Tour.
Morning tour of Muscat and the Capital Area visiting Muttrah souq viewing, the Royal Palace, Muscat Bay and Ruwi.

Day 3, Coast Road to Sur.
Depart in 4WD vehicle to explore the eastern region, visiting the Wadi Shab and the ruins of the Bibi Mariam tomb. At Sur visit the traditional Arabian boat (dhow) building yards.

Day 4, Sharqiya Tour.
Depart for the interior stopping at the old city of Al Kamil and the beautiful oasis of Wadi Bani Khalid. Drive on to Mintrib then out into the Wahiba desert. After lunch visit Al Mudhyrib and its many watch-towers, then on to Nizwa in the Jebel Akhdar mountains.

Day 5, Nizwa and the Dakhliya.
Visit the town of Nizwa, its famous fort and souq. Then Jabrin castle and Bahla fort. After lunch visit the ancient mud-brick town of Al Hamra, returning via the ruined town of Tanuf.

Day 6, Wadi Sumail.
Return to the coast via the Sumail Gap visiting the old village of Birkat al Mawz. Then on to the Al Sawadi Resort for a leisurely afternoon on the beach (overnight at the Al Sawadi Beach Resort.)

Day 7, Batinah Tour.
Visit the historic forts of Al Hazam, Rustaq and Nakhal at the foot of the Jebel Akhdar mountain range.

Day 8, Final Day.
Free day to relax. Evening check out and transfer to airport for midnight flight home.
